This Friday officially marked my second week living in NYC! I've spent the last seven days exploring my new neighbourhood and pushing myself to get out and navigate other parts of the city. There's something new to see and do every day, therefore I found utilising platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to keep up to date with events, to be extremely beneficial.
7th of June (Friday)
Explored more of Brooklyn, this time Downtown and Williamsburg
Found some cool thrift shops in these areas
Visited a few local shops and businesses in my neighbourhood
8th of June (Saturday)
Started the weekend off with a trip to Wholefoods and Walmart
Visited a last minute Sandy Liang pop-up sale
Explored some of Chinatown
Visited the Paloma Wool pop-up in Soho
9th of June (Sunday)
Explored the Upper East Side
Found a new coffee spot (787 Coffee Co.)
Watched the sunset in Brooklyn Heights with some ice-cream
10th of June (Monday)
Wondered around Soho
Re-visited some of my favourite thrift shops (so far)
11th of June (Tuesday)
Visited the Met for the first time (absolutely loved it and will be back)
Re-visited Central Park and walked around for hours
12th of June (Wednesday)
Explored more of Wall Street
Discovered one of my new favourite bagel shops (Bagel Market)
Visited the 9/11 memorial
13th of June (Thursday)
Took a trip to Trader Joe's for the first time
Watched the new Inside Out film at a local independent cinema
Watched the sunset over Manhatten, on the Brooklyn pier
